OSU Minimum Web Accessibility Standards

The OSU Minium Web Accessibility Standards (MWAS) are the implementation guidelines for the OSU Web Accessibility Policy, which went into effect June 2004 and was revised in 2012.

MWAS are based on Section 508, Subpart B, 1194.22 (Web-Based Information and Applications) and Subpart C, 1194.31 (Functional Criteria) of the Federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973, amended 1998. MWAS also draws on the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, the international standard for web accessibility.
