Center Staff

Ken Petri, M.A., Director. Ken took the position of Director of the WAC in Fall 2005. He has a M.A. in English and a B.S. in Computer Science. Ken worked as web administrator for the OSU Department of Chemistry and as web developer and technical writer for the OSU Medical Center Department of Biomedical Informatics, before coming to the WAC. Ken has also taught web design and implementation at the college level.

Joe Wheaton, Ph.D., Faculty Coordinator, is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Physical Activity and Educational Services, College of Education and Human Ecology and can be reached at 614-292-8313 or wheaton.3@osu.edu. Dr. Wheaton has experience instructing faculty and TA's in web course development for the College as well as other OSU departments. He also teaches courses in adaptive and assistive technologies and creating accessible Web pages.

Abed El-Husseini, B.S., GAA/Staff, has a degree from OSU in Electrical & Computer Engineering and is a M.S. student in Industrial Engineering. Abed has previously worked with local creative agency Resource Interactive as web development intern and worked for four years as a “tech” at the Office for Disability Services ATTC Lab.
